My Thanksgiving remarks

I am giving thanks for all of you who have supported my art career. I thank my patrons who buy my art. I thank my art therapy clients who trust me and grow and change so beautifully. I thank my Clay Club for enriching our community at YAS. I thank my assistants who keep me sane and support my work. I thank my friends who show up at events and play my games and experiments. I give thanks to those who open my emails and those who write me kinds words. I give thanks to you who have referred my services to people who benefit. I thank my parents for my life and my siblings for tumbling me strong. I thank my beloved husband and my children for tolerating my commitment to the arts and allowing me to be late for dinner. I thank creation for this universe and all the stars and planets and especially for for the blessings of life on planet earth. I thank my dogs for their unconditional love and my horse for her constant willingness. I thank Mother Nature for this planet and all the animals and life forms. I am thankful too for all the fascinating contradictions and puzzles that keep it all so interesting. I am thankful for my health and for the health of my loved ones. I am thankful for our care providers and for all the prayers that people offered and continue to offer when my daughter fought cancer and when my father has been unwell. I am thankful for the Church especially Grace Church in The Plains and for our community center and for all the little galleries and artists. I am thankful for the music and the bird songs and the good food and the prosperity. But most of all I am thankful for the love
