February 2, 2019, 6:00-7:00—Join us for "A Conversation Between Artists" with Nol Putnam, master blacksmith from White Oak Forge, and Lilla Ohrstrom, MA, sculptor, teacher and art therapist from Youngblood Art Studio. Introduction and song by local singer, songwriter, Jamie Piles.
Topics in conversation are "Reflecting on Life as an Artist", "Creativity and Imagination—What is Their Place in the World Today?", "Life Transitions and How Creativity Plays a Role", "Discrepancy of the Sexes in the Art World" and "Dreams and Intuition".
This is a two-way conversation between Nol and Lilla to be viewed by the audience. Guests are encouraged to come at 6:00 to settle in. Jamie will play a song and guests will gather to listen to artists. The talk will begin at 6:15 and run about 45 minutes with a question and answer to follow. The event ends by 7:30. Drinks and light hors d'oeuvres will be provided. Artworks will be on display.
